Cream
Cream is a dilution, located on the same gene as pearl, sunshine and snowdrop. It lightens the base coat of horses and leads to the colors palomino, buckskin, smoky black, cremello, perlino and smoky cream.
We believe horse coat genetics should be easy to understand. Through developing our game Horse Reality, we dove into the world of equine genetics and discovered how fascinating (and complex) they can be. Some genes create breathtaking colors, while others might carry risks. By sharing what we've learned, we hope to help horse lovers not only appreciate the beauty of coat genetics but also build awareness of the risks behind them. This understanding helps us care for our horses better and make more responsible choices for them.
